The Friends of Meigs Field is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt Illinois not-for-profit corporation. Donations to the Friends of Meigs Field are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. As a volunteer organization, our mission is to restore, preserve, and improve Chicago's beautiful and world-famous lakefront airport, to maximize its value as a business, convention and recreation destination, and to provide aviation education opportunities to Chicago youth at Meigs Field.
